Happy Halloween!!

I think this was the first halloween in my life I have looked outside to see a beautiful sunny day where it was 35+ degree's outside. I really don't know what its like not to make a costume with room for a snowsuit to fit under. It really didn't even feel like halloween at all this year. I actually went to this little mall/grocery store on halloween day and christmas decorations where already hanging from the ceiling. Obviously halloween isn't celebrated over here like it is in North America. I would imagine it is because family's can't afford to buy or make little goodies to hand out. And people over here are soo superstitious that witches and goblins might drive them all mad. But since i do love holidays we still tried to celebrate a little. Jeff took me out for ice cream, which is a very very rare occasion here. We have only found one place that has good ice cream but the place makes The Big Scoop in Waterton look like a charity organization. So it is only on very special occasions we get to go. Then we came back made some pizza with our friend Josie, made and decorated halloween cookies and delivered them to some of our friends in the building. Of course followed by a scary movie. Not your normal halloween but we had fun none the less!

Jeff has some serious decorating skill can't you tell. He was just soo creative!
