........I think so!! I looked out the window in my kitchen yesterday to see these two men scaling up and down this billboard trying to pull down this advertisement (that i SWEAR has only been up there for like 5 days). Anyways i was scared for their lives. No safety harness or anything. Just a prayer in their heart, hopefully some serious balance and perhaps a bit of divine intervention. Luckily they made it down though......... anything to get paid right??
Just a little side note.....a few weeks ago we were looking to book our flights home and came across some sweet deals. Long story short....it was cheaper for us to fly from Lagos to Rome then over to Salt Lake then it was to fly straight from here to the states. So OF COURSE we are going to take complete advantage of it and stay 2 and a half days in rome before flying to utah! We sealed the deal and bought the tickets today. We celebrated last night by watching "Angels and Demons" and i am now even more EXCITED!! We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow. But my question is has anyone ever been to Rome before??.....and if so, what are the must see's since we only have a few days there??

I'm sorry I am a creeper, Found your blog off of Brette's... but we're family so I don't feel quite so creepy... I've been to Rome, and there is a ton, if you are only there for 2 days it might be best to take a bus tour the first day, that way you see a quick bit of everything, and can go back to the places you really liked. You have to go to the Vatican... Colosseum, there are just tons of neat ruins every where...
Oh, I'm so jealous. I've always wanted to go to Rome. I hope you guys have a blast. I have to say, I love reading your posts. It's amazing all the different experiences your having. In 10 years you'll be telling crazy stories to your kids and they'll love it!!! My kids love it when I tell stories of growing up. So funny! Anyways, have a safe trip.
We were there for one day, and you HAVE to go to the colosseum. We didn't pay to go inside, but just walking out of the subway station and seeing it for the first time was breath taking. Seriously. And there is a lot to walk around and look at in that area as well. We really enjoyed it there.
oh if only you were going in august!!! we could have brushed shoulders once again in a random place. you'll for sure have to let us know what's good to see!!
