Christmas and New Years

Christmas of course was way too much fun as always! We spent christmas in Hilspring again. There really is nothing better then celebrating christmas with siblings that still believe in Santa. I just keep praying that they will until we have kids that are old enough to know whats going on.....that may be stretching it a bit but still. We did the traditional christmas eve celebration at my grandma's house like every year minus the fact my brother Nic and cousin Ryan weren't there. Sad. We noticed it was a lot quieter, and definitely missed having them with us!! Here's a few pics of the celebrations that night.......

My Dad and Uncle Jamie were both chosen to be the town's "santa's helpers" is what the twins call them. They just go around and surprised different houses with candy. My dad said at one house one little girl saw him and went running to her bedroom yelling "Santa's early everyone! We got to get to bed!!" They made some good looking Santa's I guess!!

We choose japanese food this year which was absoutely delish!!

The last year for our traditional pinata.....you know your too old for pinata's when on the 3rd hit it brakes open......
And of course what would Christmas Eve be without our new PJ's!! My grandma is just too dang good to us!!

Christmas morning sunrise....

And madness begins.........

I dont think i can explain the love relationship Jeff has with his new Ninja Pro........and mine with my sewing machine!!

This pretty much sums up how you would find Jeff and Casen the rest of the day....they got pretty darn good too!!

We finished off the day with an amazing christmas dinner, an awesome skype call with my brother on his mis, then right back to playing with all our christmas gifts and games together!! It really was the most perfect christmas day! Here we all are finally cleaned up or at least out of our christmas pj's 3 days later. Every christmas since i can remember my mom always bought or made all of us kids new matching church clothes. Some things just dont change i guess! Can you tell what our christmas colors were this year.....

After a wonderful christmas day we headed back down to Ogden to celebrate with the Gibb clan where again we were spoiled rotten with gifts. I really am the luckiest to have two amazing family!! The week was full of fun and again good food. Almost everyone made it down for new year's eve. We spent the night at the gym playing bump and of course you can't go to the gym with the gibb brothers and not finish with a few mean games of dodge ball. Minus one child that got hit smack dab in the face everyone made it out alive which surprisingly says a lot! We finished off the night over a few glasses of martinelli's to celebrate the beginning a hopefully another wonderful year!!
