Random.

Is it weird that this morning while going for a run, minding my own business as usual, my ipod blaring in my ear, that i start to notice that there are way too many people on the street to be normal. All the sudden i hear something much louder then my own music in the background. So i take my earphones out to hear what everyone else on the street must be listening to only to find out its a full fledged marching band....that happens to be marching directly behind me.....

Believe me, its weird enough seeing a white girl with a beet red face (obviously African dont have to worry about that) running outside period.........but to be leading a marching band!?!?! There are no words to describe how truly awkward it was. I promise all i could think of to do was keep running, pretending to not be as tired as i actually was and try not to notice all the weird looks, until i got to the next street i could turn off on. I was soo relieved to finally be on what looked like a fairly low key street. I did see group of like 3 or 4 people standing in the middle of the road ahead of me but beats the crowds of people on both sides of the street right?! So as i get closer i notice that one of the men in the group is kind of crouched down, slowly walking backwards with a huge camcorder on his shoulder. Of course before i realize what's going on I see he's recording this girl thats walking down the street singing....and here i am running right through their music video....

So if you see a sweaty, beet red faced, ridiculously confused, white girl starring into the camera while running by in the back ground of a Nollywood music video......yup, that's me....
