Welcome to the World!!

Yes i'm soo far behind at blogging i dont even know where to start anymore. So be prepared for some major catch up this next week. First and foremost the most exciting news thats not so new anymore....our perfect little Hazel Marie was born Nov. 9th at 4:24pm. She weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 19 inc. long. Only a few minutes after she was born we saw her darling deep dimples and instantly fell in even more in love with her.

She was way to eager to come into this world. After some back pain the night before then a few back contraction in the morning we headed to the clinic for my weekly check-up hoping that we would be having a baby sometime that day. After finding out i was only 3 cm dilated my doctor sent me home thinking since i was a 1st time mom things would be slow and told me to make an appointment for next week. We were disappointed but mostly i didn't know how the heck i would handle my giant belly for a whole other week. I continue to have back contractions every 5 or so minutes until we got back to hillspring. Jeff dropped me off at my mom's place and headed to our house to work on our waterless and torn apart bathroom. My 5 min back contractions quickly turned into 3 min. much harder ones. My mom was ticked my dr. sent us home so quickly and highly recommended we get our butts back to the hospital. She called Jeff and told him to come back and get me. I on the other hand thought there is no way im getting back in the car in pain if they are just going to send me home again so jeff called the clinic and told them what was going on. They said "you could come back in but dont be disappointed if we send you home again." My mother wouldn't hear of it though and got us right back on the road. Thank the high heavens we did because we pulled into the hospital parking lot at 3:50pm, as i was getting out of the car my water broke and by 4:24pm our little Hazy was here. Everything happen soo incredibly fast i almost dont remember. I remember the doctor causally walking into the room, looking over at me surprised and yelled "dont push," as he scrambled to get his gloves on and catch our baby on the way out. We just can't get enough of our little girl and are soo happy she is finally here safe and sound with us!!

I soo do not miss one second of this.....

But it was definitely worth every second of this.....

So fun to see some pictures of Hazel! And what a labor! I guess you didn't have time for an epidural or anything -- you are a real woman! Enjoy these times with a precious new baby -- she is beautiful!
